    Hi guys
I am giving up on trying to get the LG XK309 from Dell. They have done everything not to help me and I've wasted days if I add the hours I've been on the phone with them trying to solve this issue. They simple don't care and will not care to fix this problem.

As a result I'm looking to buy one from eBay or whatever.

I understand the right screen is LP154WE2 (TL)(B2) which is a glossy LCD. Has anyone tried the matte version of this screen - there's a few variants LP154WE2 (TL)(A1) and LP154WE2 (TL)(A3)? Do they work with the XPS1530?
How do they compare to the glossy ones in terms of viewing angle, brightness, color reproduction and picture quality (fuzzy, grainy, etc)

I find the glossy feature to sometimes work against me in terms of glare I get even in the office.

    Thanks

I don't know about the matte version of the LG panel but the glossy version seems to be bright enough for just about any situation. I've used mine in very bright environment without problems.

There could be a slight difference in thickness between the glossy and matte panels...
