My new XPS 1640 arrives in a couple of days.

I was wondering if any of you can recommend a good laptop cooler? One that can be used while sitting on the couch or in bed while the laptop cooler would be resting on a blanket.

I find the Zalman NC-1000 to be very effective at cooling and high quality. I use it on my 14.1" Latitude though, and it just reaches the edges (on the side). If you don't want it to stick off the side any, consider the NC-2000 (designed for bigger notebooks).
