So there was some physical damage to my laptop hinge (don't ask how) but my hinge got damaged and so i took it apart and that required me to rip apart my LCD assembly... well with everything mostly repaired, I reassembled everything and now my laptop is able to close and open like normal. However there seems to be this dark zig-zag line in the bottom of my laptop. I have no clue what it could be .I wish it is only dirt. Anythoughts on to get rid of it?

very sorry to hear that. I'm no expert, but I'm so inclined to say that it's an LCD injury. it's always there and doesn't change no matter what screen you have on, right?

Seems like a damage to the LCD panel. No option other than replacing it. :(

I don't think you'll be able to fix that. That looks like a broken LCD screen. Looks like the screen was flexed or direct pressure put on that spot. Only way to get rid of that spot is to replace the screen.
