    Anything lighter currently out there?

What if I say I want a 1440 x 900 15" notebook? (I have had bad luck with macbook pros). Is it still the m1530?

    Thanks for your help

For a big powerful notebook, the 1530 is pretty light.

Does Dell even offer the 1680x1050 anymore? I know on the US site, it is not. Maybe as a refurb you can get it.

Can definetly find some 1530s with 1680x1050 at the outlet. I'm sure they'll offer them again in the future.. hopefully with LED :D. LED Screens are lighter.. so if you want light, get LED screen.

The MacBook Pro is the lightest, and afaik, the M1530 is the second lightest.

I too hope they come out with a 1680x1050 LED. If they do that, I might end up picking up a used one on eBay someday. That is a great resolution. I am still bummed my original 1530 1680x1050 had a crappy screen. At least I was able to get the free upgrade to the LED.
