I went to change the color of the lights on M1710 and they change until windows starts and then they revert back to default red. I believe that they actually stayed the new color 2 times but when computer eas restarted they went back to default. My BIOS is AO6. Read somewhere that newest is AO7. Could that be part of problem? The M1710 and M1730's can change the LED colors from both the BIOS and Dell Quickset, but the BIOS settings always load first, followed by Dell Quickset once your Windows OS loads. If you don't have them set to the same colors, then then Dell Quicket will always try to change the current BIOS LED settings.

That fixed it. For some reason I thought that the only way to change them was in BIOS. Thank you.
