I notice like 6-7 short lines on my screen (mostly concentrated on the left side of screen)...looks like something you would see if you took you finger nail and and went down on an lcd screen (technicolor line). If i take my finger and lightly touch the line, it goes away, but it reappears every time i boot the computer! Should I ask for a screen replacement?

Take a picture? It's most likely a bad screen, and you definitely should ask for a replacement.

Yes, I talked to the rep and it does seem like a bad screen. Now I have another concern. My HD keeps clicking, and small pauses here and there...is it related to the heat issue?
