There seems to be a lingering problem with my SXPS16.

Occasionally when watching a full-screen video, the whole computer will lock up. It only happens while streaming video from online (youtube, Vimeo, that kind of thing).

The only solution is to shut the lid, wait 5 or 10 minutes, then reopen.

Once it starts, it doesn't stop unless I shut the lid. Even if the clip that caused it ends.

It also only happens when in full-screen mode, not when the video is embedded.

It doesn't seem to happen with Hulu.com or Netflix though.

Also, possibly related or not, there seems to be an issue with the bluetooth system tray icon. If it's on, there is noticeable lag on the internet and the whole computer runs very sluggishly. Ctrl+alt+del to turn it off, and everything is back to normal. Unfortunately, that also means that I can't ever use bluetooth. I'd like to fix it if possible.

I'd also like to NOT have it run at startup, instead being able to toggle it on and off from the start menu or whatever.

    Setup: SXPS16, i720QM, 8GB RAM, non-RGBLED.

Here's what I suggest. Uninstall your current flash player, install the latest from Adobe's site (depends on the browser you use as well). Try out your videos. If they still lock up your system, or you have already updated your flash player, download and install the latest ATI Video Driver (10.6) from HERE. Hopefully one of those should work, if they don't (or maybe you've done these already), we can carry on from there.

As for the bluetooth issue, try updating the bluetooth drivers to see if that will fix the stability issues. Update to the BT drivers linked HERE by this thread and see if that helps.
