From what I've read around here the black keyboard on the Dell Vostro 1400 (PN JM629) fits on the XPS m1330 and now I'm looking to buy it.
The problem is, this keyboard costs $49.99 on Dell. I have found it on ebay for $16 shipped on ebay, but the thing is, the ebay listing says:
"New high quality keyboard
100% manufacturer compatible
Equivalent Replacement Part"
Equivalent Replacement part sounds like "non OEM" to me
(heres the listing):

Now what I am concerned about is that the quality of the ebay keyboard may not be as good as if I got the legit OEM one from Dell. But I'm wondering...is it possible that the supposedly "non OEM" keyboard is actually the same exact one that Dell is selling. Why would any 3rd party company go through the trouble of trying to copy a laptop keyboard that only fits in a few models?
Can someone who knows more about this possibly give some insight about whether the ebay keyboard is OEM or not? Thanks!

There's also an Austin-based company that deals in a lot of Dell OEM parts that I've had good luck with. None of their parts that I've gotten are "compatible" parts, they are all OEM.
