I've noticed that when I shut down the computer, just before everything turns off I hear a loud(ish) click from the back of the computer. Same sort of noise as when you turn on a light switch, maybe a little sharper.

At first I thought it might be the speakers, but not so sure. Anyone else have this? It might just be hardware turning off... not sure.

Also, when I log onto windows, if I type my password in very quickly and press enter, nothing happens for about 3-4 seconds before windows loads normally. I think the system is still loading vital software or something as, if i wait a few seconds and then enter the password, everythings works fine.

Probably your hard drive parking. Could also be the speakers. Nothing to worry about, really, and same with the three to four second lag at login.

Mine does the same thing, it's the hard drive.
It's nothing to worry about, though.
