Is anyone else experiencing real high fan noise while playing a game? Even with the sound on it's clearly hearable and really annoying and continues going.
As soon as I exit the game it's over, so it probably involves temp & CPU clock. My temps are about ~70C when I exit.

Is there any way I can fix this?

I've noticed this when playing WM2 and when my wife plays Sims 3. Anyone figured anything out?

I have it with all games. Maybe a way to turn the max. fan speed down or change the point when it should go to full power?

Considering there is only one fan to cool the cpu and gpu, it is going to run at max while being stressed.

    This is normal.

It seems to kick in at 70C... so there is no way to make it stick at just 75% or so? This is nearly unbearable.

There isn't any fan control software for your system.

    I miss i8kfangui with my M1710 :)

For me it's not unbearable at all, I just worry about stressing the computer. Is there a way to judge when it's becoming too much? Sorry, new to gaming on PC really...

lol mine goes about as loud as a small vacuum cleaner. That must be found annoying. Maybe it's worse with mine? Or does yours go about just as loud?

Nah, not that loud at all. If you have a PS3 or 360 I'd say it's right in between those. Maybe as loud as a 360 gets. It doesn't distract me from the game, just causes concern because I don't want to be causing damage to the machine.

It is louder than my studio XPS 1545, but things seem better with the new Bios A11 I installed today
