    M 1730 worth 1000$ upgrade?

    well, im going to order the dell xps 1730 with 8700M GT SLI graphics cards.

    BUT i will upgrade to the 8800M GTX SLI in a few months. so my questions are;

    1 - is there a noticable difference after upgrading?

    2- is it worth the 1000$ extra

    3- i know it seems easy to upgrade yourself, but is it?

    so anyways, i know its 40% better performance, but is it really noticable?

    I wouldn't even consider the 1730 without the 8800s. If you can afford it I would just configure it with the 8800s... much easier that way and if you call Dell Sales, you can probably haggle a discount (call a couple of times - may take a few days, but trust me when I say you can get them to drop the price).

    alright, good to know... but how much do u think i can get the price down? i was only gonna wait cause i cant get the 3000$ all at once
