    How I bought the Laptop:

    60GB
    Media Direct 2.0
    Windows XP Home SP2

I thought 60GB was too small so I upgraded it to a 160GB HDD
I reinstalled Windows XP Professional SP2
Did not bother with the Media Direct

I saw on Dell's Drivers List for a Dell Media Direct Repair Utility so I gave it a shot. I downloaded it and it made an image to burn to a CD. I booted from this disk to "prepare" for the Media Direct installation in DOS and it completed.

As soon as I enter Windows setup it only detects 58GB! Where the hell did the other 100GB go?

I've read and search through threads all over the web and they all come up with the step by step instruction on how to do which i've followed but never worked.

Right now i don't care for the dell media direct, i just want the other 100GB back and forget about the media direct button. Is there anyway to undo the utility and bring it back to the full 160GB hard disk space?

    Please help...
