    Hi all,
since...my 2 MoBo replacemente due to 8400GS display iusse ..I made the CupperMod, and I´m very happy with the global performance.
At this point I can run 3DMark06, test with a top temperature 70ªC :D . My idle tempartures are around 58/60 Cº and full load.. are around 70Cª. [Ok...i use a notebook cooler and 18kfanGUI to keep this "low" temperatures...but this is my normal "working" environment]. These temperatures are monitored with... If8KfanGUI (Offset +10), HWMonitor, GPU-Z 0.28 TechPowerUp and RivaTurner (yeah. a lot of then... but i want to be sure..about temperature, 2 MoboReplacements...ufff)

And now I ´have been looking for "best" drivers for the 8400GS and making some test, also "playing" with overcloking. No "best" for daily working but...looking for the top performance and stability, just curiosity.
Anyway, here you are my test results:

DRIVER 3D06Mark Ref Core Mem Max Temp
    167.62 1400 NoMod 400 600 106
    174.93 1644 CuMod 400 600 69
    176.53 1668 CuMod 400 600 70
    179.13 1644 CuMod 400 600 70
    179.14 1665 CuMod 400 600 70
    180.70 1679 CuMod 400 600 70
    180.70 1756 CuMod 442 686 70
    180.70 1851 CuMod 469 695 70
    180.70 CRASH 3 CuMod 475 695 70
    180.70 CRASH 3 CuMod 485 695 70
    180.70 CRASH 1 CuMod 490 739 70
    180.70 CRASH 1 CuMod 517 847 70

Nice ones, like it seems the last 180.70 is the top of performance, I tried some "overclok", and....i got 1851 with 469/695 Mhz. The cuestion...is that I can´t get high tempartures over 70c in that test. I know that GPU sometimes get 75C playing fryC2 for 2 hours...

    Test settings:
    Room Temperature 22 C
    XPS M1330 CORE 2 DUO T7250 2.00GHZ, 800, 2
    128 MB NVIDIA GEFORCE 8400M GS, 160GB (7200RPM),2048MB (2X1024) 667MH
    BIOS A14
    Vista Ultimate 32
Clean boot on every driver. Average result for 3 rounds driver test.
