Some of you know I've been back and forth, but really wanted this notebook. I was able to get Dell to build the system I wanted and adjust the graphics option down, to the integrated 3100, while adjusting the price to be about what I'd have paid with the NVIDIA. (Online, any way I tried it ended up hundreds more with the downgrade, which is insane.) I wanted to just avoid the GPU issues, and I am not a gamer, so I felt the downgrade was necessary for piece of mind after realizing the NVIDIA GPU was causing the most grief with the M1330.

    I am thrilled.
And nervous/anxious - the waiting is the worst part. ;)
I know to check build quality thoroughly when it arrives, and to test out things (headset jacks, cd loader, media center, buttons, etc).

    XPS M1330
    (product)RED
    Vista Home Premium
    LED Display
    Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 (2.5GHz, 800Mhz, 6M L2 Cache)
Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 3100
    Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy
    Intel Wireless-N Mini-Card
    Bluetooth
4 Years Warranty ($70 GC coming for the $80 bump from 3 to 4, worth it.)
4 Years Accidental Damage and Theft Protection

As for RAM/HDD, I am doing my own upgrade to save $, likely going with
4GB RAM (haven't purchased, but something prob. less cheapy than Dell memory from crucial)
320GB 7200RPM Free Fall Sensor HDD (probably from newegg)

Will buy those later today, and once my $70 GC comes I think I want to geta matching mouse and a 9 cell battery from dell. Will need to find a sleeve and/or bag (hopefully something matching/coordinating).

That's cool, I've wanted a m1330 for a while now but for me I'd want a dedicated gpu.. but I think I'll wait until dell puts in a ATI card in the m1330.

I can understand that. It is a negative to only have integrated graphics in my opinion, too. However, I conceed I probably don't "need" it anyway, as I will have 4GB memory, and I am not a gamer or anything. I hope they do start offering a different GPU, I think it's terrible they're using the same one still. It was keeping me from buying, they only lucked out that I realized the integrated would be fine for me as a user.

Thanks! I'm happy to post some thoughts/review when I finally get it and play with it just a bit. I want it to arrive ... yesterday. ;)
