I dont really use my system for games etc at all, and have been using the standard Dell GPU driver so far. Its done me fine.
However, when I link up to a HDTV via HDMI, all 4 edges go off of the screen by about half an inch. Ive tried different resolution etc, and dont seem to have the ability to create a custom resolution with my current drivers.

So, which drivers can I use? Im looking for stability more then performance, since as I said above, this isnt for gameplay...

Every video card regardless if its the same make or model is unique. Your best shot is to just try different drivers.

great site for drivers is www.laptopvideo2go.com look at forums since downloads is FAR out of date

I don't know what version you're using, but Dell's 174.31 is very stable.
