    Hello,

I have had my XPS M1330 since last Christmas, and, since its been a problem that would go away with driver downloads, fixes, etc, I thought it would go away. I'm an avid gamer, and the crashes ruin most of it.

For Example..I could be playing Battlefield 2, no lag whatsoever, and then it just crashes, or the screen shuts off either momentarily, or it shuts its self off, or I get a blue screen stating that the machine has had a critical hardware malfunction. Usually these crashes have 15-30 minute gaps, but they are getting more and more frequent. I could have just started my computer back up, and within the first five minutes of a game, it will crash AGAIN!

It's becoming a large problem, and I'm thinking about returning mine unless I can get some support, I don't really want to because its not bad at all with performance, just too many crashes. I still have a few months of the original warranty going, can anyone help me?

    -Specs-
    (mostly pasted)

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7250 2.00 Ghz
    Ram/Memory: 2.0GB (2046 MB)
    OS: 32-bit Vista Premium
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS

    -Much Appreciated,

    Raehtik

Good luck returning it. You're waaaay out of the return policy, man.

Sounds like GFX/CPU overheating to me.

I would call technical support and tell them about your problems. You can't return the laptop but I'm pretty sure you can get a new motherboard or GPU.

Call them and complain, something sure isn't as it should be.

If they don't want to fix anything for you, get back here and maybe we can help you with what to tell them in order to get replacements. You know your warranty includes that a technician will come over to your apartment and switch any faulty parts, do you?

I received my M1330 yesterday, I called today because the motherboard and HDD made some noise. Getting new ones this Friday.
