Is there really that much of a difference between the two screen options? I really wouldn't mind paying an extra 125 bucks for the LED screen if I were buying a new laptop but I want to buy a refurbished one from the outlet store and all of the m1330 laptops at the outlet have a standard screen with 2MP webcam. I find it really strange that there isn't a single m1330 laptop with an LED screen at the outlet store!

I could just forget all about it and go in for an outlet laptop with a regular screen but I'm a big film buff and I'm going to be watching a lot of films on this laptop. I would like to have the optimal viewing experience.

Why am I posting this thread here then? I don't know. I guess it would be cool if someone could tell me that there isn't that much of a difference between the two screen options or that watching films on the standard screen is just as good as watching films on the LED screen...
Or it would also be awesome if someone could tell me that I'm mistaken about the outlet store and that there are in fact m1330s with LED screens available at the outlet store.
    Any thoughts?

Have to agree...the brightness of the WLED screen is astounding...hard for me to go back to using the old-school LCD type. ;)

I'm happy with my LG CCFL screen. It's bright enough for me for where I use it.

I love, love, love my LED screen !!!! Super-crisp and Super-thin. And is supposed to save some battery power as well.

LED all the way! I think the extra $150 for the M1530 was completely worth it. Blows any other LCD out of the water.

In an ideal world I'd have gone for a LED screen too. Also a big movie fan, with lots of 720p movies, and my M1330 was for watching movies/TV on the go. Dell did a deal £75 off with free delivery from the outlet, and I managed to pick up one for just over £400 - a saving of over £400. Not to be sniffed at. The CCFL screen is flawless.

You pays your money, and you takes yer choice.

Either way, you wont be disappointed - great wee laptop!
