Thanks for everyone's help and support with the m1330, 64-bit, copper mod, and everything else. I'm deploying to the Middle East for an unstated amount of time and will get to see how long my m1330 lasts.

The average heat where I'm going is currently 120-140F in the day. My aircraft will be upwards of 190+ due to lack of air conditioning. Here in Okinawa, the outside temp is around 80-90F and the aircraft internal gauge always is at the +50C max line (122F) so needless to say, it's going to be a hot one.

I'll keep posting when I can and until then, good luck.

My company designs and makes c.ockpit flat panel displays for several military aircrafts (C130J, eurofighter, F-7, A400, black hawk...) so I am very familiar with the environmental conditions that you will be subjected to.

Without industrial grade parts the laptop will not survive, especially at altitude.

Question, why would you have a comercial laptop inside a military aircraft anyways?

I'm not actually going to use it on our aircraft, just take it with me out there. I'll end up using it on the trip out and back only at altitude because our AC doesn't really work until we pressurize after takeoff, that and the nav rules. I did get to use it for work when testing out our new GPS receivers to help our boom back up our main MFD as the stick maps can only give so much border details.
