    Hi all

So I got myself the M1330 with 4GB RAM, unfortunately it only shipped with 32bit (??).

Not to worry, stuck 64bit Vista on, and by bouncing through various sites I have 99% of the drivers installed and working (I hope).

The only one I am stuck on is the Ethernet, although Im told SP1 fixes that and its downloading now.

So, FPR. I have installed the driver, looks ok....but how do I use it to log on/off windows?? Im not overly bothered about encrypting folders and such with it, but whats the deal here? Driver's installed, do I need software?

Where to get it for 64bit Vista? I have used the drivers from this page - http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=158277

    Thanks

    Yeah, I gathered as much.

Although I cant find that software for Dell, for 64 bit - only 32bit.

Do you know where I can get Protector Suite QL for Vista 64bit?

Thank you - I had gotten the IBM ThinkPad one before I saw your reply, seems to do the job perfectly :)

The actual Upek site's link to the suite does work but only in IE, apparently. Try it :).

at upek, driver is free, software is 14.95. been there and done that. other links posted are now dead, due to some infringement rights or some bs. Dell should offer 64 bit software for fingerprint reader.
