not sure if this should be in the Win 7 forum, if so please forgive me.

i got a refurb, m1330 and upgraded to Win 7 RC. I tried to do Gapless cd burning using media player. it says my drive does not support gapless burning.

I then tried to burn the same songs in itunes and set the gap to "no gap". itunes was not able to burn the cd properly. I tried again and set it to "1 second" and it burned fine.

For those that have other OS's are you able to burn a CD without gaps?

    I have the mata uj-857g dvd/cd drive.

I tend to use an external buner most of the time (for speed) but yes able to burn without gaps in Vista using Ashampoo Burning Studio 8 with the burner in this unit.

well i just tried burning a gapless cd on another computer running win 7 with media player and its seems to be burning fine.

i also downloaded a trial of ashampoo and burned a gapless cd on my m1330 and it turned out ok. so Im not sure what the issue is now.

For now i will just try to burn with some other software.
