I got my XPS m1330 2 days ago and when I checked the advanced power settings in Vista there was an option for nVidia Hybrid SLI. Choices were: Increase battery life (use X3100) or improve performance (Use 8400 GS). I was kind of surprised, because I didn't think the M1330 had the option like the 13.3" Vaio or the Asus one that let's you choose.

However, I formatted to get rid of some Dell bloatware and now the option is gone. Any ideas on this?

I saw a post earlier about this. I am really curious because I was not aware this was a feature in an XPS M1330. Very curious about this so anyone who reads this topic, please provide all the info you have! :)

I have the same option on my G2S. I have tried enabling it and running through scenarios to activate to no avail. I would suppose this is an option for enabled 9 series laptop gpus or 8 (or 9) series desktop gpus, but I am unsure. Could be windows trying to future proof as they knew about the potential for graphics switching.

It's actually quite simple....... You take an xps m1330 and put a sony sz motherboard in it, lol. It's actually a mod I read somewhere on notebookreview, when I will find it, I will post the link.
