    Hi Guys,

Now my laptop is back and working fantastically again I'm keen to upgrade the Hard Drive to get some extra space and speed. I purchased it with the standard 120G drive. I'd like to put a nice big and fast drive in it. Happy to spend up to ~£150

Does anyone have any suggestions for a high RPM, large capacity drive? 500GB+ would be nice.

Also, is the HD easy to upgrade? Do you know if it affects the warranty at all if you upgrade yourself?

    Many thanks,

    Tim.

If you need 500 GB you can go for the Western Digital Scorpio Blue 500GB, 5400rpm or wait a week or two and get the Seagate 7200.4 500Gb which is a 7200rpm.
The seagate is not available yet but it should be within a week or two, maybe three.
It's really easy to do ( 6 or 8 Screws) and i am pretty sure it does not affect the warranty.
