With the power cable plugged in the display is Very bright. As soon as it is on Battery power the display gets dark almost too dark.
In power options I have the display turned up all the way while on Battery.
Is this a normal m1330 thing for the display to do?
I have the wxga with led back lcd screen.
    Thanks

Try using quickset to up the brightness while on battery.
The hotkey for this on the M1330 is fn+up arrow.

Try Power Options yet? Can set the brightness when in battery mode for Balanced, Power Saver or High Performance (though I prefer to stick with High Performance 99.9% of the time).

Try setting the screen brightness on battery-mode in the system BIOS.

Dunno why the Windows-settings don't work...

Did all of the windows settings to the brightest settings in battery mode.
As soon as power is removed it gets like it went in the shade.
