    M1330 nVidia /w Copper Mod GPU Fail timing

    This thread is to determine how effective the copper mod is. Essentially, it determines if the GPU failure is an nVidia failure or a heat-pipe design failure. I'm hoping that the copper mod keeps the notebook from failing and that the poll results stay at zero.

    Rules:
    1) This applies to overheat failures, not to user created failures like crushing or shorting
    2) If your notebook HAS NOT FAILED-DON'T POST
    3) If you installed the copper mod after 4 months use on a new motherboard, don't post as the GPU could already be in an advanced state of failure
    4) If you have an Intel Chip...DON'T POST
