hello,
I wanted to post answering another topic with same issue but it was closed.
M1330 went off suddenly as I was using it, as if battery was empty.
when I plugged in the AC supplier, blue LED went off.
I started to disassemble the M1330 in order to remove C10 cap, but no luck short circuit was still there.
so I removed the MB from the casing and powered it with an external power supply and found one component that was very hot, EC523 (on the right of the copper-coloured hole).
I removed it and the short circuit disappeared !!! I replaced it with another component with equivalent values.
A few hours ago, everything seems to be OK.

Wow! Congratulations on fixing the issue. This goes much, much further than the average user or at least I don't think I would have ever been able to figure something like this out.
Is this the thread that you were referring to? -> http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/m1330-no-power-led-on-ac-supplier-off-fixing-report.566575/ -
I had to have a little help from a friend, as Joe Cocker would have said
that's it
