What is the highest you guys have been able to overclock and still remain stable? I am using Rivatuner and have turned my clocks up a little (nothing major) but i just want to know how far i can push it without killing it.

each gpu will have different limits. you have to test for it yourself

use other peoples settings as reference to possible configurations

Most people are easily able to achieve 100mhz over both the stock 400/600 clocks. Start from there, though i cannot guarantee 100% it will be stable for yours.

Performance 3D only, as thats what gaming uses. I suggest you read a few overclocking guides ehre in NBR before attempting it

I've overclocked before i know what im doing, The performance just really sucks in games if you don't set all the clocks to the same thing because the laptop almost immediately sets the clocks lower when playing a game...

Do NOT overclock your 8400M GS in the m1330. It runs incredibly hot at stock and will always thermally throttle if you overclock it!

Mine doesn't, so you gain nothing from OCing but you want to do it anyway?

yeah all the M1330's suffer from this issue... i read it on THIS FORUM that its a common problem the solution is to set all the clocks at the 3-d clock. Thats why i want to know where i should start in overclocking this thing... I have it up to 440/639 right now and its still stable.. i'll probably keep it right around there for now.
