Soo, my laptop has been great so far, but when I am playing games, I have rivatuner running and it is saying that I am getting around 104degrees celc....I thought my Asus G1s got hot, but this thing is hotter!! The fan can get very loud too when at these temps.

Is this abnormal...? should I be calling into dell to find out the issue?

EDIT : seems to idle around 60 degrees, which is also hotter then my G1S idled at!

What driver version do you have? I ran 169.04 and it would never go higher than about 90 C.

219 F is certainly is higher than what you would want to be at in any respect. Don't call Dell, YOU have overclocked your graphics card. I would remove the overclockings and see what temps you get.

Excuse me for assuming that you had them overclocked since you mentioned rivatuner. Enjoying your overheating computer then, clearly you are going to refuse help.

I would have said overclocked, because that would have been the first thing to look at on an overheating computer. You are not being helpful by assuming things, just ask.

I was just using RivaTuner to see my temps. Calm down?

Excuse me for assuming you overclocked. I'm not accusing you of murder or something illegal. Get over it and say politely "No you must have misread I am not overclocking" don't come back with some smart ass "Nice job assuming" comment.

Guys really...it doesn't matter. Bowlerguy made an assumption, if it was incorrect, then it was incorrect...it's really not worth fighting over. To the point; however, a lot of people seem to have issues with an overheating m1330. Contact dell? At least start a support chat and see what they have to say.
