    Hi!

I just got a new Samsung LCD TV and I've been trying to connect it to my Dell M1330 laptop vi HDMI. When I connect the cable, the TV says "Searching for signals" for a while and then "No signal". I tried to change the settings of the video card, but in the "Display Devices" option there's only one option: Notebook.

What can I do? Please help.

    Thank you!

Sorry I didn't put all the info. The TV is a Samsung LCD FullHD 32''. On my laptop I have a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for mobile.

    Thanks for your help!

I have the same problem but with different laptop and tv.

I have a Dell Studio 17 Laptop and an LG 32LG30 Flat Panel HDTV Television.
I'm using an HDMI cable to connect the two but all I get is a black screen that says "No Signal."

I updated all the drivers on my laptop and I have a 256MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3650 Graphics Card. My laptop detects an external monitor, but still nothing on the television. I don't understand why it won't work.

    Please Help!

I also have a M1330 and samsung 32" HD, i never had this problem. i dont know if it'll help but try connecting with the tv turned off and configure your settings just on the laptop, then turn the samsung on?

I do have another problem though: when it was first connected with HDMI it worked fine. But now, after disconnecting and reconnecting I find that i have lost a portion of the image on all sides on my samsung! I have tried so many different settings and cannot seem to fix it! changing the resolution doesn't work, adjusting the tv settigs doesn't work. i've tried clone, dual view and individual with just the tv.

using Dell XPS M1330 to Samsung LE32R7

    any ideas anyone?
