    7oby,
Your posts indicate knowledge of the MD system. My experience with MD 3.x is that once "broken" it cannot be recovered without reinstalling everything starting with the MD disk. In addition, MD can be "broken" in mysterious ways. Is this true as far as you know? Can you direct me to more information. I've pretty much exhausted listening and posting on the Dell Community forums for the past 18 months or so and that seems to be the conclusion. I have lots of trial experience but more questions than answers. Shoot me a PM if you have some time and I'd like to chat about it.

That's been my understanding: once corrupted, only a complete reinstall of everything will fix MD.

It will, actually. I already went through this with someone else who wanted A05. Do you have an ISP-provided email address? Let me know at z_man300 at hotmail dot com.

up until which ver. of bios is the best one?

i noticed a dramatic change of gpu performance in a15. (obviously not for the better).
