I am aware that the M1530 has a problem with audio stuttering, but I haven't read anything about my situation. I thought I would share it to see if anyone else experiences it and to see if anyone has any suggestions.

When I play music on my M1530 and close the lid, playback is normal. But, when I open the lid while the music is playing, the playback stutters.

Any ideas? Does anyone else experience this exact issue? Do you think this problem is related to the regular random audio stuttering? I actually don't remember the last time I had a random audio stutter.

I have the same problem although I rarely close the lid. It happens for me as well when system is under load...it's weird and annoying......Also happens when I download sometimes from DC++ or some other downloading software..

I think it's normal. The stutter is just for a really short time anyway. Occurs when the screen powers up on lifting the lid.
