The purpose of this thread is to present to you benchmars of the 250GB Seagate and the 320GB Seagate both at 7200RPM, the best hard drives available for the M1530. Though the 250GB 7200RPM also is manufactured by Samsung, after testing, the Seagate turned out to be the victor and thus most appropriate for testing. Though if you you would like to view the results between the two 250GB 7200RPM drives available, click here.

Based on results the minimum transfer rate of the 250GB Seagate beats the 320GB RPM seagate by 4.3MB/secs. The 320GB does beat out the 250GB by 1.3MB/sec however, so on average, the 320GB beats it out by an average of 1.6 seconds which is fairly minimal.

Being a 320GB, its access time is also slower by 0.9 seconds though the 320GB outshines almost 3 times over the 250GB in Burst rate being 87.5MB/sec higher. The 250GB burst rate is 53.8MB/sec whereas the burst rate of the 320 is 141.3MB/sec.
