    hi guys,

just wondering, is it ok if i've got the battery on while the laptop's plugged into the power socket for hours at a time? or should i remove the battery and just use the power adapter...? just wondering, as i do work on my M1530 for hours while at my desk. thanks!

Battery may last longer if u remove it when using ac adapter.

oh ok. but one thing about the m1530 though, once u remove the battery, the laptop tends to be a little 'wobbly'... if u know what i mean... it doesnt lay flat on the table..

Yes I had similar observations too.. more so with the 9-cell... so I just leave the battery slotted in...

^^^Same here...I use the 9cell primarily, and 6 cell when remote at times...
I always have the adapter either plugged in or nearby. ;) :)

if u 've looked at the battery.. one of the rubber legs is on the physical battery itself....

then u remove the battery, just elevate the back of the laptop a little bit with a book or something on the bottom when u remove the battery...it provides better ventilation and the laptop doesn't wobble anymore

what if ur playing a game..i leave my laptop battery slotted in w/ the ac adapter plugged in as well..

i notice if its not connected to the adapter, my fps in cs:source is around 30-40, when its plugged in, its consistent 99 (i capped the fps at 100). i can probbaly do the performance thing for battery saver in the battery options, but i just plug in my ac adapter to my battery, and my battery stays in the laptop...now i dont know if that will kill my battery faster but i hope it doesnt....................................
