    Awesome, thanks for clarifying that the M1530's HDMI port can output at least a 5.1 audio signal. If you had the time, would like to hear the results when hooking it up to the Onkyo Receiver.

    Does this motherboard support SPDIF pass-through over HDMI?

    I don't know what you mean exactly. It does output 5.1 sound. I select SPDIF output on MediaDirect 4. I mean as long as it outputs Dolby Digital isn't that all we need to know or are you talking about something else?
