I am curious. How fast does the M1530's GPU reach its max temperature before the fan kicks in while "idling" for you guys? I noticed that my GPU seems to reach its max temp of 68-72 C every 5-10 minutes while browsing. Anyone know if this is normal? I have had a mobo replaced in the past because of an issue with the sound card, but the GPU that came with the new mobo heats up a lot faster than the one in my old mobo. =/

If you read the Dell forums, you will find a lot of people who are having overheating problems with the M1530. It appears, from what I read, to be a design issue with the heat pipe and overall design - not sure what the "fix" is.

My 1530 GPU reaches 69C, the fan comes on, cools it to 60C, and then the fan turns off (completely off) and the GPU slowly rises back up to 69C. It takes about 5-10 mins per cycle. It is pretty normal, that is the behaviour they have given it with the bios update.

My M1530 is slightly over a year old and the GPU always idles between 50-62C. However all M1530's were not created equal so YMMV.
