    HELP!
My keyboard and touch-pad are not working. I'm using a usb keyboard and mouse with no issues. I've tried re-installing the touch-pad from the dell support site (cannot see a keyboard driver on there). I've also tried the take out battery and hold down the power button for one minute trick.
    Neither have worked.
    Keyboard works in Bios mode.
    Anyone any ideas?
    Thanks for reading

The keyboard works in BIOS but not in Windows? What about something like Windows setup or a Linux Live CD?

You probably have a driver issue? Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers in Device Manager?
