I just bought a M1530 (T7300, 8600M GT) laptop used off ebay and the seller shipped the laptop to me with a pirated copy of Windows. After I contacted the seller regarding this, he had Dell overnight the actual restore cds for the laptop to me. Anyways, I got a legit copy of Vista on here with all of the latest dell drivers and i'm having some freezing / locking up issues with it. The laptop has locked up on me while playing roller coaster tycoon 3, 3dmark06, typing a word document and watching youtube. The one odd thing i've noticed is vista has no record of any hardware failure, I checked the event log and its as if the freeze up didn't happen at all. I did run memcheck86 on it for 4 hrs today and it did not return any errors.

Any idea what could be causing this?
