    M1530 Media Direct caused STOP error

    Hey all, first post.

    I just got a new Dell Xps M1530, I accidentally pressed the media direct button and when it was loading up my battery died. It could not complete the ins installation and now every time I try to start it boots into Media Direct, stops and gives me a STOP error about plug and play devices being faulty. Ive tried booting into safe mode, etc. Nothing works. Could someone help me?

    Have you tried booting from the OS DVD?

    No, I didnt think of that because I assumed it was an error with Media direct. I'll try later on

    Well, it could be.

    I would try booting from the DVD, and preferably even just go ahead with the repair and restart option. See if everything is fine then, first, with the normal system startup, and later booting directly into media direct.
