Got my M1530 yesterday and followed the Dell laptop reformat guide to install a clean Vista set up. However earlier today I tested the MediaDirect button whilst the laptop was powered off and it blue screened! Luckily a quick search here fixed it, just press the MediaDirect button again.

I've not found an answer to this but is there a way to fix the MediaDirect issue, without going through the whole reformat guide (which I did follow to the exact words)? I'd like the ablility to watch DVDs without having to boot into Vista.

    Thanks.
