when I had it, it's definitely faster than a 7200rpm drive, i think with a 6-cell, my battery life was pushing 2.5 hrs to 3 hrs so there's that. it's definitely worth the 350 dollar upgrade for sure. boot times are signiifcantly shorter. However, being MLC, i had a lot of slowdowns when multi-tasking. Not the same as the other crappier controllers where there are freezes, this one just slows down significantly. Other issues I had with it was that I felt that when I was gaming, I couldn't do something else in the background like anti-virusing and stuff.

Other than that, there are better MLC drives coming out so if you can wait ya, but 350 is a steal for a decent batterylife performance boost

Thank everyone. Also does anybody know how much the drive would be worth if I were to sell it?

i think it fetches at least 500 bucks on ebay right now.

although you know with cashback at 8% these days, who knows. ebay is as much luck as anything
