I've had my M1530 for about 10 months now. The trackpad has always kinda sucked, but it only occasionally became unresponsive (like once or twice a month, and only for a few seconds...)

Since I've done the last bios update, the trackpad seems to freak out at least once a day, and for longer and longer periods of time.

Usually I let it set for about 5 or so seconds, but after sitting for about 20, it was still screwy.

Anyone else having an increase in the number of problems they have with the M1530 trackpad?

Mine is perma-disabled since I prefer using a mouse.

Not in my case, I'm using the latest bios and the latest touchpad driver from dell in a 64X OS...

    so no problems here.
