    Hi all,

Im sure this gets asked alot but does :

    1)The M1530 support turbo memory.

2)I have 2 empty slots can i use 2 turbo modules?

3)I have 4gb of ram is it worth it?

4)would i be better of buying one of those pci-e ssd drives and using that for pagefile/readyboost?

    Cheers

    4) maybe if you use lots of ram, but if you do then why not upgrade to 8Gb?

Does that turbo memory really make that big of a difference in speed?

There's 3 card slots.. turbo memory, wireless and cellular broadband (ie AT&T). If you have Turbo Memory you don't need an SD card for Speed Boost as it basically does the same thing. As far as speed some say it doesn't contribute but I believe it does, once up and running. I also have 4gb RAM and with the recent A11 Bios update some readers say it can support up to 8gb RAM now! xCellent!

You can only use one device for ready boost. I think that there would be a greater performance boost in upgrading the ram to 6gb or 8gb than to add a ready boost card. I have 8 gb in my desktop and yes, windows uses between 2gb on boot to 3gb with light use and 5-6gb with heavy use. I defiantly say it is worth it.
