    Hello,

    My set up is

    M1530 3 GB RAM
    T7250 CPU
    Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
    8600m GT GPU

I recently upgraded to W7 and though I have had a few problems along the way, everything has worked out great except two things. I use Vuze and it has been freezing my computer every time I open it as soon as I open it. Also there is an issue with my sound card giving me any sound at all. I have updated drivers, tried alternate driver, and have read everything I possibly could with no answer. The network driver update that some people recommend to get Vuze to stop freezing didnt work and I may have found a driver that would work for the sound but " Windows cant verify the publisher of this driver software" and it wont let me "Install this driver anway" so Im lost. I also tried disabling windows security to get past this and it still doesnt work. Please help. Ill do anything.

    Thanks.

The immediate thing that comes to my mind is to up your ram and switch to x64. I'm running 8gb in my m1530 and every once in a while it stalls up. These machines are old now, and we who still love them are going to start finding that they simply aren't made to last or to keep up with 2011 and later software.

Thanks I might give that a try. This thing is so beat down I dont know if I should keep trying to heal it or just put a bullet in its head.

I read that the x64 and x86 sound driver for W7 worked for both. Can I try it anyway because nothing else is working. Anyone have any clue about the Vuze situation.

    Thanks again guys.
