    Hi friends,

    1) I have an issue with my M1530 webcam. The frame rate is always around 8fps. How can I increase the frame rate to atleast 15 to 20 fps?

    2) While watching videos I have seen there is some delay or struck up. Is there any possibility to increase the video fps? Do I need to modify any settings in NVIDEA control panel?

    System Details:
    T8300, 4GB, 8600GT, Bios A08, LED sceen

Try to re-seat the webcam connector. If that doesn't help - then phone Dell and try to work it out with them.

There are a number of posts about this. The short answer, I think, is that the webcam on the M1530 is not very good. Maybe it's an issue with the drivers or software, but no update has been released by Dell.

That pretty much sums it up. The XPS M1530 webcam is crap. It does work well with LOTS of light. But in anything less then a crap load of light it is epic fail.
