    Hi,

I've got an XPS M1530 with Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG wifi adapter. I recently made a clean install of Windows 7 and everything is working fine except wifi. Even though I updated the drivers from Intel website to 13.0.0.107 version, the wifi has bad reception and is working extremely slow. To demonstrate, I am currently in a library that has a public wifi network. A friend of my is sitting next to me and has a Studio 1537 with Win 7 on it. From speedtest.net our download speed results are approximately 0.80 mbit for me and 10 mbit for him! I couldn't find any solutions despite multiple searches through forums and internet. I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.

I take it things were fine in your old OS?
Try this change the wifi channel and set it to band G as this is the main stream and and see what you get from doing so.
