    Hi everyone,

I have an m1530 with a 2.2 ghz core 2 duo, 2gb of ram and running on vista ultimate. I've had the computer for about 9 months now and the problem I've been having only as of fairly recently is multitasking. My computer seems it can only effectively do one thing at a time. For example, I was when watching a youtube video, I opened another tab in internet explorer and as the page loaded, the audio skipped. (Note:This has happened several times and it's not youtube. The video was fully loaded and buffered.) Isn't the point of dual core processors to have the capability to do several things at once? A youtube video and IE should not be putting too much strain on my processor. Any idea whats going on? Thanks a lot!

hmm check the Task Manager for programs which is using more memory than usual and close them if you don't need it .

also try optimizing vista using tips & tricks given in our site :D

You just need more ram man. 2GB for Vista is not a lot and ofcourse I think something wrong or something is using too much of your memory ^^!

    Try running this

A lot of M1530s have high DPC latency caused by the wireless card, this isn't something you will see in reviews, but it's a rather common problem

It's the reason for stutters, skips, and pops in audio
