Has anyone got Bitlocker running on this system? If so, how did you do it?

Isn't Bitlocker only for Enterprise/Ultimate editions of Vista & Win 7?
    Curious.

Yes. I'm running the Windows 7 RC, which includes the Ultimate feature set. As opposed to Vista, Windows 7 transparently creates the required partition on the target drive during setup. As far as I'm aware, the M1530 doesn't have a TPM, which would leave me using a USB drive for decryption. This isn't a problem, just wondering if anyone has tried so far, and with what results. :)

Ok..I see! I'm still running Home Premium on my 1530. If I do a new clean install I will do Win 7RC.

I hope you have some good feedback on this! :)

I was going to use if on my M1530 but with out a TPM you will have to use a USB Drive and if you loose it you cannot decrypt you data and there will be a small performance hit I think TruCrypt does full drive encryption better.
