I am moving into my new apartment this friday and I have to get a wireless router for my apartment. I know that N routers are the new **** and supposed to be great and everything, but are they a lot harder to set up?

My apartment is 1280 sq. ft. and I want every inch of the place to have signal, which one should I get?

Thats what I was wondering, and yes it will be a Linksys. Thats all I have ever messed with.

But since setup is the same I will get the N.

Yeah, they are all same setup. Linksys is great, but I prefer Netgear myself. Though regardless setup is easy for both and straightforward.

I have a WRT54GL and it has no problem covering my house. I had tried one Linksys wireless N router for 30 minutes when I found using the cordless phone killed the connection. I will try again with one of their better routers if I go wireless N in my next laptop.

DLink routers if I remember correctly do not have the best compatibility with certain situations, though they may have changed that.

Yeah im not sure the only reason I got it is because I found it for 35 bux!!!! It was a steal.....couldnt pass it up. The installation was a little tricky but I called up dlink and got it workin in no time.....I also get great range.....my desktop is in the far corner of my basement and I get full bars everywhere...couldnt be happier
