    Hi,

I have my M1530 since last june and had almost no problems until a month ago. Now I think I have heat issue with the laptop and wanted to check it today. I used speedfan to measure the heat. At around %10 CPU usage in Vista (no games running or anything, just Firefox and GTalk) it shows GPU @ 77C and CPU @ around 65 C. I think it's way too much but I'm not sure. Am I correct and if so what can I do about it? Thank you so much.

Did you try to check for dirt and dust in your fan or vents?

Use a can of air to clear the vents and dust as well as try official nvidia drivers.

I second the post above, clean out the fans and try again, and also try to measure your temperatures while stressing the computer, thats where it really matters.

by the looks of it those are pretty high *normal usage* temps..

Also if possible, you can use a notebook cooler pad. That is always advantage increasing the air flow.
