    Yipee! I just got my new Lappy and it's running great!

    Called Dell about not getting the case & free ear bud and the lady gave me a $100 gift card.

    I'm so happy! *happy dance* *happy dance*

    Well, they never explicitly stated when they started the promotion nor advertised it publicly as far as I know (you won't see it on your order invoice). I would ask Dell kindly to compensate for it (tell them a friend got it -- we're all friends here at NBR :rolleyes: ) through whatever means possible, whether it be a giftcard or even a general substitution. I know one factor for me going towards the Dell XPS line were the extra accessories that I viewed frequently on video reviews and such.

    So you can see why I was a bit bummed for not receiving anything but the XPS sleeve and a defected laptop. I got a refund and ordered a better XPS m1530 at the same price and hope to get at least the XPS sleeve. Someone recently posted that they had only received their XPS notebook wrapped in a plastic bag. :( Not sure if it's worth the hassle of getting the other accessories, seeing that you either get a good rep or a bad rep.

    umm... I got my XPS 1330 and I didn't get ANY accessories.... not even a Laptop sleeve .... should I call and ask for them?


    Although... I'm still not sure I'm keeping it.... although I really like it..... the possibility of a new model is tempting

    My bro messed up my current laser mouse and now the scroll wheel does not work :mad:

    I didn't get a sleeve for my laptop, so i had to get a backpack to put it in, when i carry it around school.

    I was in need of some headphones so i had to pick that up also.
