I wanted to know somethings about the skins on my coming 1530:

    1. Do any of you use skins on 1530? Any pics??

    2. Does it cause a heating problem?

    3. Does it void/endanger the warranty in anyway?

4.Where can I buy these skins in India ? Does Dell sell it?

Skins are for those who don't appreciate the original beauty and design of their notebook.

Its like cosmetics. Girls who are good looking don't have to put on makeup and look naturally beautiful. Its the ugly ones that really need it.

The M1530 is gorgeous to begin with. While its powerful, the design is impeccable. I don't know why you would turn it into a tacky looking thing with a stupid skin. Leave it the way it is.

How do you know if a girl is an ugly one if you have no others to compare to? :p

Well you can buy them from eBay HERE. You can view many previews there. I'm not sure how it all fits, but I believe they are like stickers on the laptop lid. I don't think they will cause any heat problem.

One reason I think someone would do this is to be different. Just like tuning a car.

I did see a Dunder-Mifflin skin at Staples once. That was funny, I suppose. But I spent too much money on my laptop, which is indie enough and cool enough as it is, without having a big sticker on it. I put stickers on my old laptop, which was an HP, in like 9th grade. But then again, that laptop had a plain boring silver color. Still ruined it tho. Looked dumb.

I like my little red 1530...just the way it is.. ;) :) *striking red* Woot!
If I had another model/brand of notebook, I may consider using skins...

But not with the 1530 ;) :)

    Cin' ;) :)

Black is beautiful, why fix it if it's not broke?
